In Any Direction You Choose

 





     
       Have you ever been excitedly fulfilling a big plan, a dream, God's will, and then all of a sudden, BOOM! Someone comes along and ridicules you, embarrasses, humiliates you in front of everyone by laughing at you and tearing down your project and makes you feel ridiculous? O.K., maybe they gave you a funny look and snickered. But it feels so much worse than that. 
      That's where the above quote comes in. I have brains, and I have the ability to use them. You have brains, and you have the ability to use them. And you should. 
       Now, you might be wondering, where is this all leading up to? Well, here's the point to all this: 
    PEOPLE ARE GOING TO LAUGH AT YOU YOUR WHOLE LIFE, NO MATTER WHAT. 

      It's a cruel world, isn't it? So, you can either get used to it and be something, or you can be afraid of it and be nothing. I used to be scared that people would laugh at me, but I'm not anymore. One day I just decided, I DON'T REALLY CARE. AT ALL. Point blank. Who cares what people think? In a few years, a lot of the people who laugh at me right now probably won't even be part of my life! So, I would rather be doing what God wants, and be doing what's important than hiding in some corner trying to keep from being laughed at. 
       If God gives you big ideas, USE THEM! If He's given you incredible creativity and imagination, USE IT! Whatever talents the Lord has given you, use them to the best of your abilities to fulfil His plan for your life! No matter what others say, no matter how weirdly people look at you, just keep doing what God wants you to do and using the talents that He wants you to use! Remember, "Where no vision is, the people perish."(Proverbs 29:18)  
 
      The following instructions are for those of you who have decided that they don't want to be laughed at. These instructions may help you prevent being laughed at.


                                                                      SAY NOTHING.
                                                                       DO NOTHING.
                                                                       BE NOTHING!

The Return of Lester Holmes

It's here!! After many months of much hard work by many people, it's finally done! Thank you to everyone who acted, played, sang, filmed, edited, worked behind the scenes and so many more things! Thank you especially for those of you who had to redo scenes due to me forgetting to turn on the mic on the camera...thankfully it didn't turn out to be a silent film.  We all hope you enjoy the movie (sorry, short film, ha-ha)!
