The Child's Love

 "Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." Matthew 22:37


    Have you ever noticed that when a little kid loves someone or something, there are no reservations? When a kid falls in love with a stuffed animal, that thing is perfect. No matter what could possibly be wrong with it, it's the best thing ever. When a four-year-old attaches themself to you, they don't care what you look like, what you wear, or how well you can sing- you are just the coolest person ever. 

    That is how we are to love Christ. He is our Father, and we are His children. We are to love God with everything in us, just like a little kid loves their favorite toy. With no reservations. No matter what goes wrong in our lives, we must trust Him. 

    Last summer a little girl who rode the bus to my church decided that I was her new favorite. She followed me all over the place, sat with me, shared her Sunday school prizes with me, and helped me with anything I might have been doing. Thinking back on that, I thought, 'why can't I love God like that?'. Do anything He wants me to and go anywhere He wants me to go- without question. To happily go where He leads, telling Him everything while I go. 

Let's take a lesson from little children and love God with all our hearts.

The Return of Lester Holmes

It's here!! After many months of much hard work by many people, it's finally done! Thank you to everyone who acted, played, sang, filmed, edited, worked behind the scenes and so many more things! Thank you especially for those of you who had to redo scenes due to me forgetting to turn on the mic on the camera...thankfully it didn't turn out to be a silent film.  We all hope you enjoy the movie (sorry, short film, ha-ha)!
