A Bad Friend

    How do you identify which people you shouldn't be friends with? Now of course we should be friendly and polite to everyone, but there are people that you shouldn't be close friends with because they would be a bad influence on your life. The Bible tells us several characteristics that should be a warning to us that we should not be close to a person. 

    In Proverbs 22:24 it says, "Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:". If a person easily loses their temper, you shouldn't be with them all the time. You will not only be walking on eggshells every time you talk to them, but you will also pick up the trait yourself. 

    "A companion of fools shall be destroyed." Proverbs 13:20. Are your friends foolish? There are multitudes of verses in Proverbs describing what a fool is like. Study these verses and see if they describe your friends.

    "My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not." Proverbs 1:10. A person who tries to get you to do wrong is not a good friend! If they coax you to make wrong decisions or to do foolish things, drop them! Explain to them that you can't be around someone who tries to get you to do things that God doesn't want you to do. 

    Study what God says about who we should have for companions and use his words as a guide when choosing friends.  Remember that who your friends are today will be who you are tomorrow.

The Return of Lester Holmes

It's here!! After many months of much hard work by many people, it's finally done! Thank you to everyone who acted, played, sang, filmed, edited, worked behind the scenes and so many more things! Thank you especially for those of you who had to redo scenes due to me forgetting to turn on the mic on the camera...thankfully it didn't turn out to be a silent film.  We all hope you enjoy the movie (sorry, short film, ha-ha)!
