Safety

 "Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety."

Proverbs 11:14

    Everyone wants to make good decisions, right? I don't think I've ever heard anyone tell me that they wanted to make a mess out of their life. In this verse we are told that if we fail to get counsel, we will fall. Falling is no fun- you make a mess of yourself, you usually get hurt, and your forward progress is hindered. So if you want to avoid all of this- get counsel. You might think that you know enough to make decisions, or you might know that you don't, and you've got other reasons for not asking. Maybe you don't know who to ask. Maybe you're afraid of what your friends will think. Maybe you have a totally different reason. 

    As teenagers, we will be making a lot of big decisions in the next few years. A first job, a car, whether to go to college or not, what to do with your life, who to marry, and 100 other things. Get some advice from the people who have already made these decisions. Find some people who you consider successful- someone serving God faithfully. 

    If you want to have safety and feel secure in making decisions, then find faithful people who will tell you what you need to know to live life wisely.

The Return of Lester Holmes

It's here!! After many months of much hard work by many people, it's finally done! Thank you to everyone who acted, played, sang, filmed, edited, worked behind the scenes and so many more things! Thank you especially for those of you who had to redo scenes due to me forgetting to turn on the mic on the camera...thankfully it didn't turn out to be a silent film.  We all hope you enjoy the movie (sorry, short film, ha-ha)!
