Challenges

CHALLENGE #10:
Thos is a challenge to choose. In the next couple of days, decide on a standard you will have for your future. A standard that you know is right that may not apply to your life right now but will eventually. For instance, decide on something that will influence you when you date someone. That way when it comes time for that, you'll have already decided to do right. Wrong will not be an option. Challenge yourself to do right!

CHALLENGE #9:
This is a challenge to give. Give something to someone or do them a favor this week for no reason at all. Maybe just to see the persons reaction. It will make their day...and yours :)

CHALLENGE #8:
This is a challenge to find. Find a need and take care of it every day this week. Big or small, just fill the need. You will be blessed- because not only will God bless you for helping others, you will also get the blessing of extra happiness by helping someone else!

CHALLENGE #7:
This is a challenge to stop. Pick one thing in your life you need to stop doing, and work on it. It could be a sin, a bad habit, or something that's not necessarily wrong, but something that you know you shouldn't do. When you wake up in the morning, decide not to do that thing that day. Or maybe just decide, I'm not going to do such and such for 3 hours. And when that time is up, decide again. But most important, every time you decide not to do it, pray for strength to keep your decision.

CHALLENGE #6:
This is a challenge to take initiative. Find something that you do every day- a normal task, and then take it an extra mile. If you do the dishes, put them away too. If you wash the car, vacuum it too. In the Bible God says that if you are compelled to go a mile with someone, go two. You can be a blessing to someone through this!

CHALLENGE #5:
This is a challenge to lead. Find a younger kid in your church and sort of adopt them for a couple weeks. It could be a toddler, a kid a preteen- just so it's someone younger that could learn something from you. Take the time to talk to them, listen to them, and be interested in them. You might be surprised how little effort it takes to get a four-year-old to love you. You also might be surprised how good it feels when you hear them say to their younger sibling, "That's my friend!"

CHALLENGE #4:
This is a challenge to follow. Find one older person in your church and ask them if you can spend some time with them. Help them with a project they're working on, do something they enjoy doing, or anything else they would like. Then ask them questions, ask for advice or ask them what God has been teaching them lately. You can learn much from their experience!

CHALLENGE #3:
This challenge is a challenge to help. Find one elderly person in your church or neighborhood and ask them if there's anything you can do for them, just to help them. If they are unsaved, leave a tract with them when you're finished. This would be a great opportunity to be a witness!

CHALLENGE #2:
The next challenge is going to be fun. But it will also go on the honor system...because it is a challenge to see who can hand out the most tracts in a month! This challenge starts September 1st and ends October 1st. Whoever wants to participate can send in their number on October 1st by emailing it to megankadams22@gmail.com. The winner will be announced on October 2nd, along with the total number of tracts handed out (I'm excited to see that total:). The best part of this challenge is that it will influence eternity! *

  1. In 2023, God was starting to convict me about my need to be witnessing to people around me. I knew I needed to, but I was hesitant to because I was kind of scared . Then one day I opened up this blog to see new posts and I saw the challenge for witnessing. That was like the tipping point. I was so ashamed because I hadn't even gotten courage to tell others about the wonderful love of God. I decided not to enter the competition ,but I did start passing out tracts and I'm thankful that Megan posted it on that day!! :) Hope this is an encouragement even though the challenge is long past :)
